Research Focus
Gillian Beamer, V.M.D., Ph.D., D.A.C.V.P. is a veterinary pathologist and research scientist studying tuberculosis. She is an Adjunct Associate Professor and Independent Staff Scientist at Texas Biomed.
Dr. Beamer has about 20 years experience in veterinary medicine, pathology and scientific research. She is a Board Certified Diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Pathologists, having completed a residency in veterinary anatomic pathology at The Ohio State University. She earned her V.M.D. from University of Pennsylvania in 2000 and her Ph.D. from The Ohio State University in 2009. She joined Texas Biomed in 2022.
